- 3 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (1 oz)
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix (1 oz)
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 4–6 pepperoncini peppers
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Season the beef chuck roast with salt and black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the roast until browned on all sides.
- Step 3: Place the seared roast into the slow cooker.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
- Step 5: Pour beef broth into the slow cooker around the roast.
- Step 6: Add pepperoncini peppers on top.
- Step 7: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
- Step 8: Shred the beef with two forks and serve with the cooking juices.
Notes
For extra flavor, add sliced onions or carrots during cooking. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
