Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (1 oz)
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix (1 oz)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 46 pepperoncini peppers
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Season the beef chuck roast with salt and black pepper.
  2. Step 2: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the roast until browned on all sides.
  3. Step 3: Place the seared roast into the slow cooker.
  4. Step 4: Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  5. Step 5: Pour beef broth into the slow cooker around the roast.
  6. Step 6: Add pepperoncini peppers on top.
  7. Step 7: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
  8. Step 8: Shred the beef with two forks and serve with the cooking juices.
