  • Total Time: PT45M
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

Juicy, crispy, and easy-to-make hamburgers cooked in the air fryer, offering a healthier and mess-free alternative to traditional grilling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, onions

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.
  3. Step 3: Brush the patties lightly with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  4. Step 4: Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
  5. Step 5: Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Step 6: During the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  7. Step 7: Toast the hamburger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes if desired.
  8. Step 8: Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding optional toppings as desired.

Notes

Using parchment paper or a silicone liner in the air fryer basket can make cleanup easier. Feel free to customize with your favorite cheeses and toppings for a personalized burger experience.
