- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
