  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (optional, e.g., parsley or chives)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine sliced potatoes, sour cream, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Mix until well coated.
  3. Step 3: Layer half of the potato mixture in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the shredded cheese and half of the crumbled bacon.
