Description
A quick, healthy, and flavorful dish combining tender salmon with caramelized asparagus coated in a glossy honey glaze, perfect for weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 bunch asparagus (about 1 pound)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil to make the glaze.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with half of the honey glaze.
- Arrange the asparagus around the salmon. Drizzle the remaining honey glaze over the asparagus and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender and caramelized at the tips.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs such as parsley or dill before serving. Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the salmon fillets.
