- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Step 1: Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns a deep amber color, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well blended.
- Step 3: Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Step 4: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Step 5: Fold in chocolate chips.
- Step 6: Pour the batter into a greased 9×9 inch baking pan, spreading evenly.
- Step 7: Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Step 8: Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
