- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces spaghetti pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add spaghetti to the boiling broth, cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and shredded cheddar cheese until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
- Slice cooked chicken into strips and return to the skillet, mixing with the pasta and sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.
