  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

A creamy, cheesy, and comforting skillet dish combining chicken, pasta, and pantry staples, cooked in one pan for easy cleanup and quick preparation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces spaghetti pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add spaghetti to the boiling broth, cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and shredded cheddar cheese until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
  6. Slice cooked chicken into strips and return to the skillet, mixing with the pasta and sauce.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to customize with additional vegetables like spinach or bell peppers, or add hot sauce for extra flavor.
