- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture, and beat until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing just until incorporated.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle coarse sugar on top before baking. You can substitute blueberries with raspberries or blackberries for variation.
